Municipalities

Reforestation of useless Municipal land areas

Our carbon sinks are created on useless wastelands where natural forest growth doesn’t occur. This kind of forestry is more expensive, and we have to pay a premium compared to regular forestry. We have to take into account factors such as disturbing hay growth, protecting our saplings against moles, price of planting a wide variety of trees etc.

Municipalities don’t have to pay for this, they will actually gain the profits from future thinnings that improve the health of the forests. We want everyone to join us in the fight against climate change and we offer a way for municipalities to gain profits and forest area while doing so. New forest areas will also create work for local forest management.
